Cairo on Feb 18, "Day of Victory" celebrations in Tahrir Square. I realize my foot is not clear of the tank, but after 15 tries and a pulled hamstring, and the tank commander not happy to have a foreigner taking pictures, I thought it was close enough.

Incredible. A day of victory, indeed. Your foot not quit clearing the tank represents a win of this battle and many battles, and almost winning the war. Your foot not clearing represents the lives lost in this "bloodless" victory for freedom and democracy.

Great work at such an incredible time!

EPIC JUMP DB!! Very unselfish and brave of you to put your life on the line and jump a tank for freedom even though its turret and machine gun is pointing straight at you. Kudos for you for bringing freedom to Egypt!!

I always knew that sending jumpers to the Tahrir Square would start something big in Egypt and the Arabic world. Well done brave DB. Now carry on to Libya - they need some freedom to.
